how it all started

In 2010, we observed that learning and development initiatives were diving in quality and results, which affected the belief of the corporate world in investing time and money behind it.

So, we dug down and identified five corporate needs that were lacking:

  1. Blended learning experiences

  2. Facilitative and participatory approach

  3. Contextual understanding (country, industry, culture, individuals)

  4. Tailor-making mindset

  5. Corporate pragmatism

With solving the above in mind, mynditude embarked on its first trip in 2011.

Since then, mynditude:

  • Delivered in more than 30 countries around EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa)

  • Innovated its own signature programs & tools

  • Enjoyed lasting partnerships with a diversified clientele

  • Spread beyond training & coaching.


WHO IS BEHIND IT

AMR HABBAL

Managing Director, Founder and Optimism Chief

His career spanned over 15 years in the business field before mynditude. His last assignment was with United Biscuits UK (makers of McVitie’s) as the Commercial Director partnering with distributors in the Levant, North Africa and Iran region. Prior to that, he was the Marketing and Business Development Manager in FDC (FMCG Distribution). Further back, he had started his career handling the consumer communication portfolio of Unilever, Nike, Warner Lambert, and Heineken at J. Walter Thompson. 

Over the years, Amr developed a precise coaching method. Combined with the adaptivity and positive attitude, this methodology allows him to convert and connect complex concepts with simple everyday realities. 

Certified from Harvard Business School in Strategic Management, and from INSEAD in Management Acceleration, Amr attended two different coaching schools for a more rounded approach. He’s an alumnus of the UK School of Coaching (Executive Coaching) as well as the Coach Training Institute (Co-Active Coaching). He holds several accreditations: Myers Briggs Type Indicator® MBTI®, Insights Discovery®, ScrumMaster®, Emotional Intelligence, EQi-2.0®, Strength-Based Coaching. Amr studied his MBA in the American University in Beirut and holds a BS in Business Computer from the Lebanese American University. 

Find Amr, when he is not coaching corporate teams across the world, pursuing a new hobby like painting, playing guitar, acting, or challenging the mynditude team to another game of darts.

 

YASMEEN EL KAISSI

pROGRAM DESIGN & PARTNERS MANAGER AND iNNOVATION Chief

Yasmeen joined mynditude in 2022 and is currently responsible for managing relationships with mynditude’s partners, identifying their training needs & making sure they get what they are looking for. She is also working on conceptualizing new ideas to be incorporated in the trainings.

Yasmeen’s passion for the Organizational Development field developed from her experience working in various sectors & different functions. Having worked at Unilever in both the Marketing & HR departments, at Riyada for Social Innovation (a social enterprise) as a Business Development Manager, and last but not least as a researcher at the American University of Beirut, Yasmeen experienced the impact of Organizational Development. Yasmeen was able to refine her skills by earning an MSc in Human Resources & Organizational Analysis from King’s College London.

Being our innovation chief, Yasmeen enjoys reading, discovering hidden gems, meeting new people, and taking her daughter on adventures!
